Working Townhouse Fire - 91 Salerno Drive, Cambria Village

At 9:02hrs Station 44, Station 45, Ambulance 64, and KM-6 were alerted to a structure fire at 91 Salerno Drive in Cambria Village. Under the command of 44-23 (Hammond), 44-2 responded. 44-2 arrived to find a two story middle of the group town home with smoke showing from 2nd floor windows. Quint 45 had laid a 4" supply line prior to 44-2's arrival. Quint 45 was stretching an attack line and forced the front door. 44-2's crew split, one crew stretching a backup line the other searching the fire floor. Ladder 44 arrived and secured the utilities and searched the floors below. Additional staffing was directed to the fire floor to help with opening up and overhaul. The situation was placed under control and units were made available. The scene was turned over to the on scene Fire Marshall. All units cleared.
