Tanker Company Assist 45 on fully involved house fire - 509 Chance Rd., Clayton

At 0127 the CHC was alerted to assist Sta. 45(Clayton) on a working house fire. Sta. 45 units arrived to find a fully involved farm house. Command requested additional tanker companies to the scene due to the large amount of fire, and long hose lay down the lane. T-44 & E44-3 responded to assist. Upon arrival T-44 was set up as a nurse tanker for shuttling engines to drop their water in, and the crew from E3 assisted with defensive suppression efforts and overhaul operations for about 90 minutes. Once the fire was under control 44 units were released by command.
