Chimney Fire

At 2038 hrs Station 44 along with Tanker Company 26 were dispatched to 936 Masseys Church Road for a residential structure fire. 44-2 with a full crew made the response under the command of 44-16(D.Neeld). While units were responding, Kent Center advised that the home owner believed that they had a fire in the chimney. 44-2 arrived on scene to find a Large 2 1/2 story residential dwelling with nothing evident. Tanker 44, Engine 443 and Rescue/Engine 44-4 arrived and stage followed by Tanker 26 and Squad 26. Crews from Engine 2 and 3 investigated the Chimney to have negative results. The Situation was placed under controlled holding it to the Engine Crews.
