James T. Vaughn Correctional Center

The Citizens' Hose Company was dispatched to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center (1181 Paddock Rd in Smyrna) at 10:54am for smoke conditions in one of the buildings. Upon arrival we were met by Correctional Center officers. It was then determined that we would act in a support role with the Department of Corrections and the Delaware State Police. Additional resources have been called in from multiple agencies including EMS.
