Field Fire - Woodland Beach Rd. & Severson Neck Rd.

At 1631 units were dispatched to a field fire on Woodland Beach Rd. in the a/o Severson Neck Rd. Brush 44-0 under command of Chief Embert responded quickly and arrived to find the ditch line of a field on fire. The property owner was burning along the ditch line to clear out growth when it became out of control. The fire was quickly extinguished and the area wet down by crews from 44-0 and E44-4. Crews were in service for 34 minutes, and 44 members responded to the alarm. OIC was Chief John L. Embert. Units responding: Brush 44-0, E44-4 and Rescue 44
