Delivery of new Engine 44-2 - Station 44

On April 7th @ 1900 the Citizens Hose Co. took delivery of its new engine. Engine 44-2 was delivered by KME representative Skip Stinger to Chief John Embert and all the members of the company. Approximately 30 members were on hand to see the truck for the first time. The new engine is a 2009 KME Predator with a 1000 gallon tank, 2000 gpm pump, and an 8 man cab. It will be utilized as the attack engine runnning first on all sructure fires, CO alarms, and gas leaks. It wiil be replacing the current E-2 which is a 1991 KME Firefox. The truck will be placed into service in approximately 1 month once it has been equipped and drivers training is complete.
