Fire Prevention Week #3 - Smyrna, DE

During the third week of Fire Prevention North Smyrna Elementary School visited the firehouse. Also, Engine 44-4 with a crew of 3 traveled to the Deleware State Fire School in Dover to assist the staff while Smyrna Elementary 1st Grade visited the school. In all we saw 559 children. 21 members helped out over the week. Thanks to all that participated. The fire prevention committee ended their efforts on Thursday night by judging fire prevention posters and essays from six different grade levels in the district. 6 committee members came up to help out. Over the last three weeks we met with 1180 students and had 35 seperate members help out.
