Aerial Operators Course-Practical Training - Smyrna

As part of the increased training in 2013 the CHC held an in house Aerial Operators Course taught by the DSFS. Members learned all about the basics and some more advanced techniques of using and setting L44. Crews gained knowledge about setting, placement, operations, and much more. For the practical portion of the class members went out the Delaware Home & Hospital (DHCI) and practiced evolution setting the truck to the roof, and practiced scenarios to challenge the operators. About 10 members took the class.
